Leigh-Anne Mauk is a writer and photographer who has been writing fiction stories since the age of ten and has been photographing since she was old enough to push the shutter button. In terms of her writing, as well as her photography, Mauk tends to be drawn toward unusual subjects, which run the gamut from fantasy and the macabre to written and photographic work that incorporates the surreal, the uncommon, and seeks to express the untold beauty that can be found within the ordinary and everyday. Mauk has a B.A. in English with a minor in Photography from Shepherd University, as well as an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Hagerstown Community College. She is a freelance writer and photographer who works in the public relations field. |
Artist's ThanksNo artist is able to create without inspiration and without her muses. And likewise, no photographer people would be able to create the work he or she does without the help of friends, family, and most especially, gifted and talented models who do so much more than they are ever given credit for. I, myself, am no exception and have been blessed with some truly amazing models over the years. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
